I love it when artists do their thing. My friend, Annet Artani, just released her new single, “Alive.” If you loved Britney Spears’ best single, “Everytime,” then you will love Annet’s music. Annet co-wrote the beautiful ballad “Everytime” and has enjoyed a non-stop wave of commercial success ever since.
The video gets to me because I know what she went through during this time, and the video only scratches the surface of her pain. Annet turned such a tumultuous event into something beautiful. She’s always had a way about her, something I recognized when I first met her in 2006. I had to photograph her and loved our photo set. A magazine in Greece printed these images, and I attained some pretty cool tear sheets within a couple of months of picking up a camera.
